Subquery is a free, public API. We do not require accounts, logins, or API keys. When you make requests to our API or visit our website, we collect:

• Hashed IP addresses: We hash all IP addresses before storage. We cannot reverse these hashes to identify you.
• Request metadata: Endpoints accessed, timestamps, response codes, and user agent strings for operational monitoring.

We do not collect names, email addresses, payment information, or any other personally identifiable information.

How We Use This Data

The limited data we collect is used to:

• Monitor API health and performance
• Detect and prevent abuse or excessive load
• Understand aggregate usage patterns to improve the service

Cookies

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics services on our website or API.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or provide access to any collected data to third parties. The only exception is if required by law.

Data Retention

Hashed request logs are retained for 90 days and then automatically deleted. Aggregate statistics (total request counts, endpoint popularity) are retained indefinitely but contain no identifying information.

Third-Party Services

Our API and website are served via standard hosting infrastructure. We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
